European leaders, including Malta’s Prime Minister, signed a letter to Israel urging it to allow more aid into Gaza and condemning it for its restrictive measures that are preventing a seamless flow of aid into Gaza. The entrance of aid to Gaza has been severely restricted by Israel since its renewal of hostilities from March this year causing a famine in Gaza that left dozens of children dead with malunitrion.
Protests continue to take place in Israel, with several occurring this week, including a demonstration by air force veterans outside the IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv, as well as others outside air bases. Protesters in Tel Aviv also gathered outside the hotel where John Acree, one of the leaders of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, was staying.
In a press conference, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denied that Israel intends to occupy Gaza with its latest cabinet decision, but Israeli troops on the ground are displacing everyone in Gaza and forcing them to relocate at Al-Mawasi camp or the nearby area across the coast.
Airstrikes in Gaza have continued this morning particularly in the ลปejtun neighborhood of Gaza City.
