Authorities have since confirmed that Antonio Zanghì is no longer being sought, and the appeal for his whereabouts has been withdrawn.
The police are still actively looking for Gergis Nadi Saad Fadil. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the police, even anonymously, by calling 21224001 or 119, or by visiting the nearest police station. Please quote reference number 22/2025 when providing information.

By order of the Magistrate, the police have issued a public appeal to locate two individuals who are required to appear in court:
- Gergis Nadi Saad Fadil, a 43-year-old Egyptian national
- Antonio Zanghi, a 38-year-old British national
Anyone with any information about these individuals is kindly asked to contact the police, even anonymously, by calling 21224001 or 119, or by visiting the nearest police station. When providing information, please quote reference number 22/2025.
