The President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa has described President Donald Trump as a Russian asset in a Q & A Session at the Universidade de Verão do PSD in Castelo de Vide, Portugal last Wednesday. He said that with his actions President Trump is siding with Russia over Ukraine and his actions are neither driven by economic or ideological aims, as he simply acts like a Russian asset.
The Portuguese President criticsed President Trump for failing to initiate new sanctions on Russia after Russia refused to effect a ceasefire with Ukraine. The Summer University of the of the Social-Democratic Party of Portugal takes place every year for leaders of young leaders and activists of the party.
