Malta Under-21 coach Davide Mazzotta has named a 27-man squad ahead of the opening fixture of the UEFA EURO U21 Qualifiers. The young Maltese side will take on Greece on Tuesday, 9 September 2025, at the Centenary Stadium (kick-off 19:00hrs).
This will be the first of ten matches Malta will contest in Group F, where they are drawn alongside Georgia, Germany, Latvia, and Northern Ireland.
The squad enters the campaign on the back of a positive June international window, when Malta claimed back-to-back away victories against San Marino in friendly matches โ results that boosted team spirit and showcased promising development in both chemistry and performances.
It will also mark the first European qualifying campaign under coach Davide Mazzotta, who has been working to integrate new talent with an already improving core group.
