Matthias Azzopardi wins All Malta Skeet Competition, 5th Selection Shoot 2025

Matthias Azzopardi emerged victorious at the All Malta Skeet Competition, securing top honours in the 5th Selection Shoot of the season at the Malta National Shooting Ranges.

Azzopardi delivered a brilliant performance in the finals, scoring 53/60 to edge past Andre Cassar (52/60) in a tense duel that went down to the final shots. Liam Sciberras completed the podium with a third-place finish after hitting 41/50.

The two-day competition featured 125 qualifying targets, with the top six shooters advancing to the final. Cassar had topped the qualification round with an impressive 119/125, followed by Clive Farrugia (117/125) and Sciberras (115/125). Azzopardi qualified fourth with 110/125, while Joseph Muscat (102/125) and Rennie Deguara (25/125) also made the cut.
