Two men were hospitalised following a traffic accident in Triq ix-Xatt, Gżira, on Thursday evening.
The accident occurred at around 6:15pm, when a Surron Light Bee moped driven by a 24-year-old man from Ħal Tarxien collided with a Honda NSC110 motorcycle ridden by a 35-year-old Libyan resident of Żurrieq.
A medical team was called to the scene, and both riders were transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. Later, the motorcyclist was certified as suffering from serious injuries, while the other rider sustained minor injuries.
Police investigations into the case are ongoing.
