Earlier today, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia is turning diplomacy into a farce and encouraged his allies to put further sanctions on Russia and to keep arming Ukraine. President Zelensky added that it must be ensured that Russia can not repeat its invasion.
Russia has launched up to 1300 drones, 900 guided aerial bombs and up to 50 missiles at Ukraine cities in September alone. Most of these objects have been intercepted but Russia has been exponentially increasing the rate of airstrikes against Ukraine cities as this year progressed.
President Trump’s “peace plan” which involves Ukraine’s capitulation has so far been stalled as Russia is demanding a meeting with President Zelensky in Moscow. Meanwhile, European countries have drawn up details of their security guarantees for Ukraine.
Russian forces in Ukraine are realigning at the front of Pokrovsk in what seems to be a concentrated effort to make a major push for the city, which will highly likely result in many casualties on both sides.
No new sanctions against Russia have been drawn up by President Donald Trump despite his pledges to to do so following Russia’s failure to achieve a ceasefire.
