Motorcyclist seriously injured in early morning crash in Qala

Early this morning, at around 5:30 a.m., police were informed of a traffic accident on Triq l-Imġarr, Qala, Gozo.

Police officers immediately went to the scene, where initial investigations revealed that the collision occurred between a Kia Picanto, driven by a 53-year-old woman from Qala, and a Honda NSC motorcycle, driven by a 47-year-old man from Nadur.

A medical team was called to assist, and the motorcyclist was taken to Gozo General Hospital by ambulance. He was later certified as having sustained serious injuries.

Police investigations into the case are still underway.
