Very unusual images and video are being posted online by Moroccans of what seem to be very unusual mass protests being organised by Gen Z. Morocco was one of the few and exceptional Arab countries which remained unfazed by the Arab Spring of 2010. A video published online shows protestors burning the portrait of the King which is a criminal offense punishable by jail-time.
Protests in Morocco are a very rare and unusual sight. Statements being made online state that protestors are rallying against the government after announcing plans to spend billions of Euros on hosting the World Cup in 2030. One particular video also shows protestors storming what seems to be a police station but we could not verify this.
