Last night, Russian drones attacked a grain storage facility in Koryukivka, north of Chernihiv. A 66 year old woman was injured. A Ukrainian ballistic missile strike in Mykolaiv killed a Ukrainian civilian.
This is not the first time that Russia has targeted Ukraine’s food supplies in its daily bombardments and attacks of Ukrainian civilian infrastructure.
Meanwhile, a Russian soldier and Prisoner-of-War in Ukraine has been transferred to Lithuania to stand for trial over war crimes. As per UN treaties, Lithuania has the capability to conduct legal jurisdiction over war crimes committed abroad. The detainee was captured by the Ukrainians in the Zaporizhzhia region and is accused of committing war crimes against civilians in Melitopol who include at least one Lithuanian citizen. Russia is currently increasing its hybrid attacks against Europe. The German airport of Brandenburg closed down shortly last night due to unusual drone sightings.
