A 33-year-old man from Żejtun was seriously injured following a traffic accident in Marsaskala on Monday evening.
The incident occurred at around 6:45 p.m. in Triq Sant’Antnin. Preliminary police investigations indicate that the collision involved a Hyundai Accent, driven by a 74-year-old woman from Żabbar, and a Kymco Agility motorcycle ridden by the man.
A medical team was called to the scene, and the injured motorcyclist was transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries.
Police officers were on site to manage the situation, and investigations into the cause of the accident are still underway.
