I’m very glad that David Bonello reminded me of this important fact that has already been established. The branch of Steward Health Care in Malta paid up to €6.5 million from the public funds it was awarded to smear and attack the then Health Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne. The smear campaign was conducted by a company engaged in fraud and smears headed by Lynton Crosby.
We had already published the evidence showing that Chris Fearne was deeply hated by Joseph Muscat’s clique for standing up to their corruption, which included Konrad Mizzi and Yorgen Fenech.
The Police are yet to conduct a full and extensive inquiry over the smear campaign conducted against Chris Fearne. The Prime Minister said that there was no corruption with regard to the public hospitals concession granted to Steward Health Care.
The Labour Party ans the government didn’t even defend Chris Fearne when he was attacked by a foreign entity: an act that consisted a gross violation of our national sovereignty. Even Labour won’t even protect Chris Fearne, the Labour Party previous Deputy Leader and Prime Minister, and won’t even go after foreign agents who smeared him in a dirty campaign, just consider how less preoccupied would the Labour government be if an ordinary citizen was attacked
