The BOV GFA Cup quarter-finals, held on Sunday, 9 November 2025 at the Kercem Stadium, saw SK Victoria Wanderers and Xewkija Tigers secure their places in the semi-finals with convincing victories.

SK Victoria Wanderers produced a composed and disciplined display to claim a 3โ0 win over Oratory Youths, booking their spot in the semi-finals in style.
After a tightly contested first half, the Wanderers broke the deadlock on 60 minutes through Andre Lee Cutler, who finished clinically to put his side ahead.
As Oratory pushed forward in search of an equaliser, Neil Camilleri doubled the advantage in the 89th minute, effectively sealing the result. Deep into stoppage time, Sam Harland added a third goal (90+3โ) to complete an emphatic victory and ensure SK Victoriaโs progression.

In the dayโs second quarter-final, Xewkija Tigers delivered a dominant performance to defeat Ghajnsielem 4โ1, with Brazilian striker Marcelo Junior Barbosa and forward Abou Toure both netting twice.
The Tigers made a blistering start, taking a 2โ0 lead within the opening 13 minutes โ Barbosa opened the scoring on 10 minutes, followed quickly by Toureโs strike three minutes later.
Barbosa struck again shortly after the restart (47โ) to extend the advantage, before Toure made it 4โ0 on 50 minutes, putting the result beyond doubt.
Ghajnsielem pulled one back through an own goal by Ian Xuereb in the 57th minute, but any hopes of a comeback were dashed when Naim Ibrahim Belhadj was sent off on 86 minutes.
The result sends Xewkija Tigers into the semi-finals as one of the competitionโs clear favourites, while Ghajnsielemโs cup journey comes to an end.
Both SK Victoria Wanderers and Xewkija Tigers now await the outcome of the remaining quarter-finals to determine their semi-final opponents as the BOV GFA Cup 2025 moves into its decisive stages.
Qala Saints and Nadur Youngsters cruised into the semi-finals of the BOV GFA Cup after registering emphatic victories in their respective quarter-final matches played at the Kercem Stadium on Saturday.
In the opening match, Qala Saints produced a dominant display to thrash Gharb Rangers 8โ1. The reigning GFA champions made their intentions clear from the start, taking a commanding 4โ0 lead before the break through goals from Ibrahim Mohammed (14โ), a Joseph Zammit brace (17โ, 27โ), and Gustavo Dos Santos Lemos (35โ).
Gharb managed to pull one back on 41 minutes through Tristan Axiak, but Qala resumed their dominance immediately after half-time. Matteo Camilleri (49โ) added a fifth before an own goal by Romario Mysteqja (55โ) further extended the Saintsโ advantage. Luke Attard (77โ) made it seven, while Emanuel Buttigieg โ despite seeing his penalty saved moments earlier โ made amends by scoring Qalaโs eighth in the 87th minute.
In the dayโs second fixture, Nadur Youngsters showed their class with a resounding 7โ0 win over ลปebbuฤก Rovers, confirming their status as one of the favourites for the trophy.
Murilo Scarpari opened the scoring after just eight minutes and doubled his tally on 32 minutes, either side of a goal from Joao Pedro Oliveira Santos (Pedrinho). Before half-time, Diego Fernando Rodriguez Angulo added a fourth, and the same player completed his hat-trick with strikes in the 57th and 64th minutes.
Luka Haber rounded off the scoring with a fine finish on 74 minutes, while Haraan Hajazan Goncalves Barbosa missed a late penalty for ลปebbuฤก.
Both Qala Saints and Nadur Youngsters now advance to the semi-finals, maintaining their strong pursuit of silverware in what promises to be an exciting conclusion to the competition.
