US State Department designates European left-wing militant groups as terrorist organisations

Under President Donald Trump’s campaign to designate “AntiFa” groups as terrorist organisations, the US State Department and Department of Treasury have sanctioned four European left-wing groups and designated them as foreign terrorists.

One such group is the Italian anarchist and leftist group, Federazione Anarchica Informale, and this group hasn’t been active for nearly a decade. The other groups which have been sanctioned are  the Greek groups Armed Proletarian Justice and Revolutionary Class Self-Defense, and these groups are slightly active. These groups used parcel bombs in their past actions but never claimed lives.
