Malta Womenโs Under-19 National Team Coach David Attard unveils a 22-player provisional squad ahead of the upcoming UEFA Euro WU19 Qualifiers taking place in the coming days.
Malta has been placed in Group 6 of League B alongside Latvia, Israel, and Kazakhstan. Attardโs side will contest three challenging fixtures at the Centenary Stadium in quick succession, as the squad continues its development. All matches will be broadcast live on the Malta FA YouTube channel.
The team enters the qualifying round following two friendly internationals against Lebanon last month. Lebanon secured a 4โ2 win in the first match, while Malta responded strongly in the second encounter, earning a 1โ1 draw. Despite mixed results, the outings provided valuable preparation for the upcoming qualifiers.
Malta opens its campaign against Latvia on Tuesday, 25 November, at 11:00hrs. The team then faces Israel on Friday, 28 November, at 14:30hrs. The final group match sees Malta take on Kazakhstan on Monday, 1 December, with kick-off at 11:00hrs.
