Mark Camilleri Gambin elected Deputy-Secretary Genera of the European Democratic Party

Mark Camilleri Gambin, the Secretary General of Malta’s latest political party, Momentum, has been elected as Deputy Secretary General of the European Democratic Party at its congress in Bilbao, Spain. Momentum is the new political party led by Green Party veteran, Arnold Cassola.

Secretary-General Sandro Gozi praised Mark Camilleri Gsmbin and Arnold Cassola for their pro-European and reform-minded approach. Mark Camilleri Gambin also appeared in the official propaganda posters of the Democrats.

The European Democrats are Europe’s biggest liberal party and they are also very pro-European and pro-EU. They currently have 9 seats in the European Parliament.

The President of the European Democrats is Franรงois Bayrou who was previously French Prime Minister. One of its most popular politicians is its previous outspoken President Guy Verhofstadt who is still an MEP today.ย
