Secretary Marco Rubio: “Most meaningful meeting so far” – Europe starts capitulating

The US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is currently in talks with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky’s Chief of staff Andriy Yermak in Geneva, Switzerland. US State Secretary Rubio said that this was the most meaningful meeting over the war in Ukraine. The meeting has continued and the pair will be back for a press conference later.

The United States if pressuring Ukraine to capitulate with a 28-point plan that it has drawn up with the Kremlin. Some of these points include that Ukraine should not join NATO and also restrict its size of the army. European leaders have begun capitulating to these demands with a set of proposals of their own, conceding Ukraine’s sovereignty over its NATO membership and its size of the army.

Russia is imposing limits on the size of the Ukrainian army but there are no limits being imposed on Russia’s. Europe has begun capitulating over this demand.

President Zelensky said that Ukraine is faced with a choice between dignity and the loss of its partner (the US).

  1. Europe capitulating? The Europeans have proposed a 28 point counter proposal including a peace time force of 800k (minus 10% it currently is but up from the 600k hard limit in the American proposal-farce). As for territory the Europeans are suggesting a freeze. The territory Russia currently holds should be demilitarized and Ukraine will try to recover it diplomatically. The Europeans are using tact to keep the US tagging along. There’s no chance in hell that Russia will agree to perceived European imposed conditions and then we’re back to square one. Ultimately we all know that invaders should not be rewarded or appeased. There’s also huge distrust towards the invader.
