Novorossiysk harbour bombed again with massive drone strike

Earlier this night, Ukraine launched up to 200 drones against Russian military targets and oil infrastructure in Crimea and the Novorossiysk harbour striking multiple targets. Russian footage shows a malfunctioned Russian anti-air missiles falling to the ground and a Ukrainian drone that struck a residential building in the city. Footage shows Russian air-defence firing relentlessly at the drones.

Ukrainian drones have in the past been used for assassination missions targeting military officials and drone operators at their Moscow apartments, but drones could also veer off-course due to electronic jamming.

Novorossiysk has been the target of several systematic attacks by Ukraine in order to shut down its oil exports. Many of the oil terminals are offline and port activity declined substantially, but Tatneft’s oil terminal was still operating last week and oil-tankers are increasingly switching off their transponders when entering the harbour.

Meanwhile, Russia also conducted its daily drone and missile strikes against Russian cities and civilians killing up to six civilians in total in Kyiv. First footage is of the apartment building in Kyiv that was struck by Russian drones. The rest are of Novorossiysk.
