Oil-tankers spotted at Novorossiysk, but some facilities still offline

Some oil-tankers have been spotted entering the port of Novorossiysk yesterday, but the satellite images published by the Ukrainian security services show several oil facilities in the harbour with significant damage. Ukraine conducted a successful attack on the port Novorossiysk last week, effectively shutting down oil facilities.

One of the first ships that entered the Novorossiysk port following the attack was the Italian owned and Maltese-flagged Valgardena (IMO: 9384124). The Valgardena is owned by Montanari Navigazione (FANO).

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced yesterday evening that Ukraine and France have agreed on military cooperation agreements which will lead to the significant strengthening of Ukraine’s ari-defences and air forces. Ukraine has also continued with its drone and missile campaign against the Russian oil industry hitting new targets in the Samar region.

Russia also continued with its daily attacks against Ukrainian cities and civilians attacking the city of Odessa.
