Novorossiysk port-bombing is mission accomplished for Ukraine as port is emptied of oil-tankers

Following Ukraine’s successful attack on Novorossiysk harbour, which is an important point for Russian oil sales in the Black Sea, the harbour has been empty of oil-tankers in contrast to its daily schedule with oil-tankers queuing for oil purchases.

The Sheskharis oil terminal, operated by Trasneft, is currently offline. Direct hits took place on berths, loading facilities, pipeline, pumps, and oil storage units. A lighthouse and other port infrastructure were also destroyed. A civilian container ship was also hit by debris during the attack.

Crew members on vessels filmed the moments that Ukrainian drones struck the harbour’s oil and infrastructure facilities.
