Ukraine conducts massive attack on Novorossiysk port destroying oil terminals

Earlier this night, Ukraine launched a massive and coordinated drone attack against Russia’s port of Novorossiysk destroying the Sheskharis oil terminal and other oil facilities and infrastructure. Russian air-defence systems were also hit.

The Novorossiysk harbour is a very important harbour for the purchase of Russian oil including by European-registered vessels.

Other strikes were reported deep inside in Russia at the oil refinery in Saratov and also in Kursk.

Sanctions and Ukraine’s campaign against Russia’s oil industry are significantly decreasing Russia’s oil exports.

More info on the recent attacks here.

On the other hand, Russia also continued its daily attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilians with at least four civilians killed in Kyiv during a night attack.
