Farrugia hits three Half-Centuries as Snooker Leagues See Action

The latest round of the local snooker leagues produced a competitive night of action across five divisions on Wednesday, 26th November.

In the top-tier CE Installations Premier League, John Farrugia was the standout player of the evening, securing a 4-2 victory over France Mintoff. Farrugia was in exceptional form, registering three notable half-century breaks of 54, 54, and 50 during his match.

Over in the Goliath Coatings First Division, Nicky Spiteri delivered a dominant performance by achieving a decisive 3-0 clean sweep against Xavier Rizzo.

The Second Division provided a much tighter contest, with Joe Debono narrowly edging out Christian Joseph Agius in a hard-fought 3-2 victory.

In the Third Division, the match between Luca Pellicano and Christopher Muscat ended with a walkover, granting Christopher Muscat a 3-0 win.

Finally, in the Masters division, Philip Ciantar secured a solid 3-1 victory over Simon Zammit.
