A 28-year-old Macedonian man residing in Raħal Ġdid is in critical condition after a serious traffic accident on the St Paul’s Bay Bypass on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred at around 1:00 p.m. Preliminary police investigations show that the man was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle when he lost control and fell.
A medical team assisted him on site before he was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. He was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries and is currently in danger of dying.
Magistrate Philip Galea Farrugia has been informed and appointed an inquiry. Police investigations are ongoing.
