Spanish Police in collaboration with Europol have arrested three members of the neo-Nazi terrorist group called “La Base”. Spanish Police also seized money, propaganda material, guns, ammunition and tactical military equipment from two sites of the group in Madrid and Valencia.
The arrested suspects were in contact with the group’s founder, Rinaldo Nazzaro, who is based in Russia, from where he coordinates his operations. The suspects were also undergoing military training in preparation for an attack. The group also has cells in the US, Canada, Australia and South Africa.
The group is designated as a terrorist organisation in the EU.
