Malta’s Deputy Prime-Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister, Ian Borg, has released a statement commemorating Malta’s Republic Day. In his message, the Minister for Foreign Affairs underlined Malta’s values in foreign policy and that include multilateralism, neutrality and support for an the international rules-based-order. Malta is supporting peace efforts in the Near East and in Ukraine but also stressed that Malta also remains supportive of the international rules-based order.
At the Doha Forum, the Foreign Minister said that Malta is supporting Qatar in its mediation efforts over Palestine.
