Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has visited the frontlines in Kupiansk after the city was mostly recaptured by the Ukrainian forces following intense battles. He thanked his armed forces for their victory and said that their effort is needed to strengthen Ukraine’s diplomatic work.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have also recaptured half of the city of Pokrovsk where intense battles are ongoing. Russia is losing a record number of troops in Pokrovsk with Russian casualties being reported at more than 1200 men every day in all of Ukraine.
Ukraine is successfully fighting back the Russian invasion despite ongoing and massive pressure on the country by the US to capitulate to Russia.
