The UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces have conducted a drone strike against a United Nations base in Kadugli, the capital city of the South Kordofan state. Six Bangladeshi peace-keeping soldiers belonging to the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNIFSA) were killed in the attack. Abyei is a disputed region between Sudan and South Sudan.
A statement by the United Nations condemning the attack can be found here. Established in 2011, the UNIFSA aims to protect citizens and deliver humanitarian aid.
On the previous day, the RSF bombed a humanitarian convoy travelling to the city of Al-Dabbah. The RSF also publicised a video with the torching convoy declaring that any other aid convoys to the city will be destroyed.
War crimes by the RSF are being committed on a daily basis in Darfur, Sudan with tens of thousands of people being killed each month in the RSF’s ongoing genocide.
RSF terrorists don’t know how to fly drones and such technical support is provided by Colombian mercenaries.
