According to a report by The Telegraph, David Walliams has been axed by his publisher, Harper Collins UK over accusations of inappropriate behaviour with young women. Besides from being known for his comedy shows, David Walliams is one of Britain’s most popular children’s authors.
In Malta, David Walliams was at the centre of a scandal after it was revealed that the Film Commission paid him up to €300,000 to promote Malta and to present the Film Awards during each two-day visit, across multiple visits to the island.
