2025 was another year in which Joseph Muscat successfully evaded justice and accountability for his gross crimes and serious accusations, including international corrupt schemes and being a facilitator and abettor to the murder of a journalist.
Thanks to the evolving amoral norms of society by the Labour Party, criminality by politicians is now tolerated especially if these politicians have popular backing.
For political criminals, this is a rent-seeking paradise. For Malta, 2025 was just another year of significant back-sliding in the rule-of-law.
