70-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured in Fgura collision

A 70-year-old man from Ħaż-Żabbar was seriously injured following a traffic accident in Fgura on Tuesday morning.

The collision occurred at around 10:45 a.m. in Vjal il-Kottoner. Preliminary police investigations revealed that the man was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle when it collided with a Toyota Ractis driven by a 53-year-old man from Żejtun.

The motorcyclist was assisted by a medical team at the scene before being taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries.

Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
