The Gozo Football Association has published its revised fixtures list for the period spanning late December 2025 through January and early February 2026, outlining a busy calendar across the Gozo Football League, Youth League and the MFA Trophy.
The action begins on Tuesday 30 December, with Gozo Youth League Under-19 football at the Sannat Ground, where SKVW Xaghra face Nadur Ghajnsielem. Youth football continues throughout January with regular midweek fixtures, offering young players consistent competitive exposure.
Senior football resumes in earnest in the new year with the MFA Trophy Round of 32 taking centre stage during the first weekend of January. Matches are scheduled across Malta and Gozo, including Birkirkara versus SKVW, Tarxien Rainbows against Ghajnsielem, Qala Saints facing Mgarr United, and clashes involving Xewkija Tigers, ลปabbar St Patrickโs and ลปurrieq.
The Gozo Football League programme intensifies from Saturday 10 January, featuring Second Division encounters at the Kercem Stadium, with St Lawrence Spurs, Oratory Youths, Sannat Lions and Munxar Falcons all in action. First Division fixtures follow on Sundays at the Gozo Stadium, highlighted by match-ups such as SKVW versus Nadur Youngsters and Qala Saints against Xewkija Tigers.
Mid-January sees continued league action across both divisions, including notable First Division clashes such as Xaghra United versus Qala Saints, Xewkija Tigers against Kercem Ajax, and later in the month, Kercem Ajax hosting Xaghra United under the Gozo Stadium lights.
The month concludes with further decisive fixtures, including SKVW versus Ghajnsielem on Friday 30 January, and a full round of Second Division matches on Saturday 31 January. The schedule then carries into Sunday 1 February, with First Division games featuring Qala Saints against Nadur Youngsters and Xaghra United taking on Xewkija Tigers.
The GFA reminded clubs that home teams are responsible for ensuring kit colours do not clash with their opponents. Further updates, including details on Youth Knock-Out fixtures, are expected to be communicated in due course.
