A 30-year-old man residing in Msida was taken to Mater Dei Hospital on Monday after being injured in a traffic accident that occurred at around 4pm on Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli, Msida.
Preliminary police investigations indicate that the victim was riding a Honda motorcycle when it collided with a BYD E6 vehicle driven by a 39-year-old man from Sliema.
The motorcyclist was assisted at the scene by a medical team before being transported to hospital by ambulance, where he was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries.
Police investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
