A dispute that broke out overnight in Fgura resulted in one man being injured with a sharp, pointed weapon and several others being taken to hospital for treatment.
Police were alerted to the incident at around 4am on Wednesday after an argument erupted inside an apartment block in Triq Ċensu Busuttil. The altercation involved three Maltese men aged 42, 43 and 38, together with a 42-year-old Russian woman, all residents of Fgura.
During the argument, one of the men sustained injuries caused by a sharp, pointed weapon. All three men were taken to Mater Dei Hospital, where they were certified to have suffered minor injuries, with one of them confirmed to have been wounded by the weapon.
Police investigations into the case are ongoing.
