Meet Tammy Caruana: the unemployed (alleged) fraudster who stole €1 million

Tammy Caruana is the woman who has been taken to Court on charges of defrauding up to 200 people of €1 million. She is accused of impersonating banks and defrauding people with creative and fake banking and business schemes.  She is from Saint Paul’s Bay, unemployed and 25 years old. Her fraudulent racket also extended in the UK and Ireland.

She seems to have spent the money she stole from ordinary people on a car, jewelry, trips and plenty of days by the pool. Pictures below.

      Good afternoon Chalise. We usually don’t allow abuse to be published in the comments section. The photo was taken from Facebook, which was public, and we did so by following Facebook’s terms and conditions. We weren’t going to identify you as a person who is associated with an (alleged) fraudster posing with potentially stolen proceeds but since you identified yourself publicly, here and elsewhere, I am happy to oblige.

    How did Tammy defraud those people? According to Irish press, solely Maltese nationals. Did she call them and lured them by using Maltese language to gain trust and lower attention?
