Labour Government proposes anti-free speech measures in the Constitution

The Labour government is currently trying to veto free speech with a constitutional amendment tabled in parliament that states that the free speech should come with responsibilities and that restrictions should apply. The Labour government did not announce these proposals and does not have an electoral mandate to implement them.

The Labour government is trying to push a press reform that is highly restrictive to the press. Labo0ur Party MPs, including the Justice Minister have condemned the free press in parliament multiple times especially for NuxellinaLeaks.

The amendments proposed, which are being posted below will also potentially affect my ongoing Constitutional case over my right to publish the aforementioned leaks. the amendments restrict free speech on the grounds of confidential information, national security, protection of morals, protection of reputation and to preserve the authority and independence of the judiciary.
