Yestersday evening at 17.oohrs, an argument between two men happened in Triq l-Wied in Żurrieq. The argument happened in a apartment block between two neighbours aged 68 and 27.
During the argument, the 68 year old man was injured using a sharp, pointed object. A medical team was on the scene and assisted the two individuals where they were then taken to Mater Dei Hospital via ambulance.
The 68 year old has been certified to have grave injuries whilst the 27 year old was not injured.
The 27 year old man is being kept by police for questioning after investigations and inquiry were opened by Magistrate Dr Franco Agius LL.D
