It is highly unusual for the Labour Party to call an early general election but all the signs seem to be there with government officials meeting at the Labour Party headquarters, the setting up of billboards all over the country and the approval of new general election candidates.
The Prime Minister has been fueling the rumour about an early election for some time and he is intentionally leaving the Opposition guessing about the election date. This is infantile behaviour at best: keeping the election date secret so as to keep your opponents guessing. The disgraced ex-Premier Joseph Muscat called an early election in 2017 in line with a parallel plan to murder a journalist. Now, the Labour Party is potentially calling for an early election to challenge Opposition Leader Alex Borg before he can rise higher in the polls.
The Labour Party has no respect left for its opponents and neither for itself. Labour is creating a society for itself and effectively turning our society into a one-Party state. The intellectual discourse has been monopolised and the national university is under the government’s control. The press is mostly dependent on government funding and critical voices are pressed with systematic lawfare. The Justice system and the authorities have been hijacked with Labour firmly in control of the Police and the Attorney-General. The Public Broadcaster has become Labour’s propaganda network.
Labour MPs and politicians refuse to engage honestly and are contributing to a discourse of hatred, division, and outright stupidity with the likes of Alex Agius Saliba leading the charge. Our society is producing less children and is getting rapidly much more stupid.
The Labour Party also intends to stay in government ad infinitum and is projecting this dictatorship plan with an absurd so called and well propagated “Vision” that is basically an economic forecasting model.
Labour is tightening the laws on free speech and the free press and Labour politicians want to crush the free press with increased libel damages. Labour has already extensively destroyed free speech by monopolising the media and the public discourse – Labour wants to implement even harsher laws.
This dictatorship is being sustained with a Jungle Rules policy of unbridled construction and development. The contractors and developers who benefit from thisย policy are major donors of the Labour Party. Prime Minister Robert Abela has just given a โฌ120 million direct order to his friends Bonnici Brothers.
The birth-rate is the lowest it has ever been in history and young people are unable to create their families due to the cost of living crisis and skyrocketing property prices. With birth-rates at all -times low, there is literally no other better alternative to describe the Labour Party as the Party of Death.
The plan for Labour is the Dubaification of Malta and this plan involves the stratification of society. Those in the class of the Labour Party have access to the justice system in a privileged manner, public resources and potentially also impunity and immunity from the law. We the plebs are being told that we have to pay for all of this.
Labour Party politicians do not have a genuine concern about Malta and its future. The Prime Minister is the archetype of an opportunistic criminal whose only lasting legacy will be the protection of other criminals – Joseph Muscat was involved with a group of corrupt friends who murdered a journalist and this scumbag is still running around meeting the Premier and hanging around the Labour Party.
Malta’s prospects for the future are not really bright, whatever the government is trying to say. And Labour politicians won’t be convinced otherwise because they have adopted a sense of entitlement and a sense of arrogance as if they own the country and its people. Labour doesn’t have good fate – let’s make this very clear. Labour’s only interest is to preserve power and anything they are doing is set for this end.
Labour is not going to change with convincing political arguments – they don’t care. The only way to compel Labour to change is to enable its defeat at the general election.ย Every possible effort must be made to ensure that the Labour Party loses the next general election – this is for the good of our country and the future Maltese generations, if they will exist at all.
