Right of Reply Start:

We are writing for and on behalf of our client Mr Petar Bajic, in response to the article published on the 2ndย of April 2026 titled ‘The cocaine and drug traffickers who got away with it’, which article contains statements that are inaccurate, defamatory, and misleading about our client. Consequently, our client would like to exercise his right of reply and clarify the following:
“First and foremost, the article misrepresents Petar Bajic as a drug trafficker. Proceedings against Petar Bajic are still ongoing, and he has merely been charged. At present, no judgment or conviction has yet been delivered by the Maltese Courts. Consequently, he is presumed to be innocent of the charges brought against him.
Furthermore, the assertion that Petar Bajic has fled Malta is entirely incorrect. This is confirmed by the fact that he has been ever present in Malta since the commencementย of proceedings.
Lastly, the claim that Petar Bajic “is part of the Serbian crime network in Malta” is wholly unfounded and is strongly denied.”
We request that this reply be uploaded on the website, in terms of the Media and Defamation Act, Chapter 579 of the Laws of Malta.
Lastly, our client reserves his right to take all such measures and actions against you in terms of Law and this to safeguard his rights and interests.
End.
