Iranian Crown-Prince and Opposition Leader Reza Pahlavi published a message pronouncing his grievance and disappointment with the European press for what he described as censorship about the victims of the Iranian regime, particularly the victims of the protests in January of this year, and the protestors that are currently being executed.
Reza Pahlavi said that the European press was more concerned to air its grievances against Israel and the US instead of reporting on the oppression of the regime in Iran and its victims. He concluded by saying that with or without Europe, the Iranians will keep struggling for democracy.
Tens of thousands of protestors have been massacred by the regime in Iran and its security forces in January this year and up to 52 protestors who have been imprisoned have also been executed. The regime is still arresting people and condemning people to death amid an internet blackout in the country. Pahlavi described the uprising in Iran that began at the end of last year and took place this year as the most significant uprising in Iran since the 1979 Revolution.
During the Berlin press conference, Pahlavi warned about normalising and legitimising the regime via ongoing negotiations and said that the regime, does not have moderate elements, and they are all part of the same machine that is killing protestors.
While in Berlin, Pahlavi exited the press conference, the son of an IRGC official, Pedram Hossein Monfared, who is studying at the Berlin University of the Arts (Universitรคt der Kรผnste Berlin), threw red sauce at him, hitting him on the back of his suit.
