The Super ONE journalist who was given responsibility over Malta’s energy and electricity contracts can’t even handle a little of bit of criticism as she squints with a patronising and spiteful look at her critic while she is told that subsidies should not go to people with super yachts.
The Maltese public is effectively subsidising the fuel of yacht-owners, including the foreign yacht-owners who berth their vessels in Malta. We are also subsidising the fuel of drug-traffickers and the local power-boat community, including the fuel of the Prime Minister’s yacht himself.
Energy Minister Miriam Dalli couldn’t reply to this criticism other than by repeating the same old refrain about the importance of subsidies and whatnot.
Minister Dalli has avoided answering questions to the press, gives interviews and media appearances only to Labour Party friendly outlets and has splashed millions of Euros in propaganda campaigns across the Maltese press. She consistently speaks in propaganda-speak and can’t explain rationally her policies because in reality she has no idea what she is doing.
Under her leadership, the government has consistently refused to be transparent on its energy contracts and he refused to publish the details and the prices of its energy and electricity opurchases.
The TV programme featured below is called “Popolin” and is a Labour Party propaganda show on the Public Broadcaster (host is Quinton Scerri who is a previous Labour Party mayor and activist).
