Qormi Daikin are set to travel to the Slovenian city of Predanovci to compete in the Euro Hockey Challenge 1 tournament.
The competition will take place between Friday 22 May and Monday 25 May, with Qormi drawn in Pool A alongside hosts HK Triglav Predanovci and Ukrainian side HC Olimpia Vinnitsa.
Coached by Andre Ghio, the Maltese champions will open their campaign on Saturday at 5:45pm against Olimpia Vinnitsa before taking on HK Triglav Predanovci on Sunday at 4:45pm.
The classification matches will then be played according to the teams’ final positions in the group stage.
Qormi head into the tournament on the back of an outstanding season both locally and internationally. The club was recently awarded the Euro Hockey Small Club of the Year 2025 title after a memorable European campaign.
Last season, Qormi claimed the prestigious honour after defeating HK Lipovci 3-2 in a penalty shoot-out in the final, following a tournament in which they remained consistent from start to finish.
Meanwhile, on the domestic scene, Qormi enjoyed complete dominance after winning every competition organised by the Malta Hockey Association during the past season.
