An accident on the Msida flyover yesterday night caused a traffic jam leading to the Msida skatepark, in what is one of the first signs of traffic congestion resulting from the current infrastructural build-up aimed at cars and private vehicles in Msida.
The Labour government is also pushing ahead with plans to build a pedestrian bridge replacing the famous Junior College traffic lights.
Despite common public knowledge that Malta has a traffic and infrastructure crisis, with passenger vehicles on the roads increasing, the Labour government keeps building an infrastructure system designed for private vehicles, leading ever more to the same results.
The Labour Party is proposing a Third World-style monorail as one of its solutions, while the Nationalist Party is proposing a metro.
