Woman and child injured with flare in Hamrun as Labour Party celebrates its election win

A woman and a child have been injured with a flare and rushed to hospital during the Labour Party celebrations in Ħamrun. Reports cite that flares lit inside a car led to injuries to at least two individuals.

Celebrations are ongoing across many parts in Malta after the Labour won the general election and the Nationalist Party leader conceded defeat.

    For the child’s sake, the police should investigate and, hopefully, prosecute. I saw the carcading in St Julian’s this afternoon. This was an accident waiting to happen.
