Keith Bartolo, a previous OPM employee, has been appointed Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Youth and the Implementation of the Electoral Programme. His Minister is Omar Farrugia.
More noteworthy is the fact that Keith Bartolo is the husband of Stefania Bartolo, the previous Head of San Andrea School, who was forced to resign under allegations of fraud amounting up to โฌ200,000. The case involved previousย board chairman Kevin Spiteri, whoย had misappropriated around โฌ200,000, while his company KJM Enterprises had made more than โฌ3 million from works at the school. The case ended with a settlement between Kevin Spiteri and the school.
