We have obtained further details about the strike being called by the Chamber of Laywers on Monday and as we previously noted, the strike is being incited and supported by lawyers who have a financial and monetary incentive. One of the instigators of this strike is actually Giannella De Marco who was originally Yorgen Fenech’s lawyer before delegating the brief to her associate Charles Mercieca.
The Opposition Spokesperson for Justice, Joe Giglio is also supporting and instigating in favour of the strike.
This is a strike intended to help the case of Yorgen Fenech and anyone who will be joining it is being duped to support a fake cause which has no grounds based on reality and legality. The State has already denied that any interceptions are taking place in prison.
The presence of Joe Giglio in this charade is also discordant with the role, and interests of the Opposition and the Nationalist Party. The Opposition MP has been using his political position to further his personal and professional interests (defending criminals). Joe Giglio is also fighting for the interests of Tumas Group and Yorgen Fenech in Court.
