War in the Persina Gulf is back as Iran keeps attacking oil tankers trying to pass through the Strait of Hormuz while the US keeps up its strikes against its military targets. Iran targeted the Indian oil tankers the Al Bahia and Mombasa B killing one crew member in the process.
India summoned the Iranian ambassador following the attack.
The US is keeping up its strikes against Iranian military targets in the Persian Gulf, but strikes have now also escalated again deep inside Iran with strikes reported in the city of Jam. Meanwhile, Iran is also once again targeting the Gulf states with drone strikes reported in Kuwait and Bahrain.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps have also stated that they have attacked the US Fifth Fleet in the Persian Gulf.
According to the US military, up to 20 warships and 100 fighter jets are involved in the operation. US President Donald Trump has once again threatened the Iranian regime with elimination if they don’t strike a deal.
Israel has so far not been involved in the ongoing strikes but has reaffirmed its willingness to join the strikes again if requested by the US.
