Marsascala Residents show disapproval to Chinese state placed by the Mayor and the Chinese Comunist Party

Residents of Marsascala have shown nothing but total disproval of a Chinese statute placed on the locality’s promenade by Mayor Mario Calleja. Residents also questioned how the local council could waste money on something unrelated to the locality while its infrastructure continues to crumble.

Naturally, residents also asked what relevance, if any, the statue has to Malta or even to the locality.

The statute was also inaugurated by Minister of Equality and Civil Rights Rosianne Cutasjar.
