More Labour-leaning local councils wasting their time (and our money) in China

The latest local council to join the gravy train of Labour’s corrupt practices with China is the Marsaxlokk Labour Local Council. A delegation from the Marsaxlokk Local Council, including Labour Mayor Steven Grech, visited China for a “twinning ceremony” with the Chinese city of Zhoushan in Zhejiang Province.

Apart from the shameless waste of public funds and the free holidays these idiots are taking on the back of the state, these trips by Labour Party officials and politicians stem from a culture of corruption and deals established by Joseph Muscat with Chinese businesses, while the Chinese government uses the corrupt, amoral and crass naivety of Maltese politicians to extend their interests and influence.

The Marsascala Local Council even built a statue of a Chinese national and cultural figure.

For the rest of the press, this stuff seems harmless and uneventful, but it is part of a wider process in which Labour has sold, and is still selling, Malta’s sovereignty in exchange for corruption and crass stupidity.

In addition, the very fact that local councils are taking their time to partake in this buffoonery is also testament to how irrelevant local councils have become, with Labour reducing them to vehicles of corruption and the waste of public funds on political buffoonery.
