Andrew Tate’s lawyer, Joe McBride, threatened US Secretary of State Marco Rubio with allegations involving his college football-playing son in response to the UK’s request for the extradition of the Tate brothers, who are currently being held in solitary confinement at the Federal Detention Center in Miami.
The lawyer made the threat during an appearance on the New Zealand-based podcast Digital Social Hour. He claimed that the Tate brothers could not be extradited without the US Secretary of State’s approval, before stating: “Marco Rubio’s son plays college football in Florida. One allegation against his son, and his son’s life is over.”
The UK’s Crown Prosecution Service is seeking the extradition of Andrew and Tristan Tate to face multiple charges, including rape and human trafficking for sexual exploitation. Andrew Tate also faces charges relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography. They were arrested last month in Miami after being hosted by President Donald Trump’s personal friend and Special Envoy Paolo Zampolli.
During the interview, the lawyer also attributed President Trump’s political success to the “manosphere” and Andrew Tate and implied that that Andrew Tate was a victim fo a withc hunt that if succesfull could be repeated on every man including his son Barron.
Axios reported that the US State Secretary thinks that “the Tate brothers are scum” and that neither he nor President Trump are going to block their extradition.
