Malta continued their impressive campaign at the World Aquatics Men’s U16 Water Polo Championships in Zagreb with a 15-12 victory over New Zealand.
The Maltese youngsters produced another strong attacking display to secure a three-goal win, with Jake Simpson leading the way after scoring an outstanding seven goals.
Benji Schranz and Benji Lewis added two goals each, while Mathias Fenech, Nathan Spiteri, Giulio Massa and Luca Schiavone scored once apiece.

The 15-12 result underlines Malta’s competitive showing at the championship, which is being staged in Zagreb between 3 and 9 August.
